MAPS ETS Client Connectivity -Fixed Income Specialist - Core Technology Infrastructure

Job Description:

The Markets Application Production Services Electronic Trading Support Client Connectivity (AMRS MAPS ETS CC) team is primarily responsible for the on-boarding of clients on BofA’s Rates, Credit, Emerging Markets, and FX eTrading platform. The team supports a fast-growing electronic business operating in true partnership with our Front Office stakeholders. The role is focused on Fixed Income products and is a high-profile role as it has a direct impact on the firm’s revenue generating abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enabling new clients and new / additional users to BofA’s Fixed Income e-commerce suite – both internal and external

  • Client Services for both internal and external clients for any eTrading related issues

  • Supporting clients across multiple vendor channels

  • Being the first point of contact for users of BofA’s Fixed Income eTrading platform

  • Extensive liaison with Sales and Trading in both Voice and eTrading

  • Handling of Global eTrading trade issues in the highly regulated FICC market

  • Conduct problem investigation and resolution

Required Skills:

  • General knowledge of the Rates, Credit, Emerging Markets, and the mainstream products in use

  • Knowledge in Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess and Trumid

  • Advanced Excel Knowledge

  • Experience of dealing directly with hedge fund and/or institutional clients, preferably in Rates, Credit, Emerging Markets

  • Confidence when dealing with internal sales and traders, and external vendor and client contacts

  • Must be detail-oriented in all system updates in a high-volume environment and have the ability to look at impact from different angles

  • Ability to investigate and resolve day to day issues

  • Ability to use initiative on a day to day basis, and not be reliant on procedures

  • Learn different applications quickly and adapt to new procedures due to a constantly evolving suite of products

  • Regulatory knowledge

Participates with Technology management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests.
