Operations Project Consultant - Specialty Product Servicing

Fort Worth, Texas;

Job Description:

Responsible for medium - large projects for an operations department, product or business unit. Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues, analyzes market and operational impact in the business brought about by the project parameters. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, management and staff analysis. Develops project plans including estimates of cost and resources required. Defines project scope to others outside of operations that may become involved in or impacted by the project. Requires a thorough knowledge of the operations area.

• The Operations Project Consultant role for the Specialty Product Servicing Organization (SPS) will oversee production and performance, through data analysis and direct engagement with vertical operating teams.  

• Will assess current state and identify opportunities for improvement including proactive identification and root cause of any errors before significant client impact. 

• Support the SPS organization in business deliverables associated with Control Tower and portfolio surveillance, initiatives and project / program management.

• Assess and improve inventory reporting, working collaboratively with Production Support

• Forensic account analysis – providing output to inform key strategies for client experience, defect mitigation, etc.

• Assess and improve inventory reporting, working collaboratively with Production Support

• Create and maintain SPS portfolio trend, metric and dashboard reporting

Required Skills:

• Experience in end to end production surveillance, analytical efforts to deepen understanding of business processes that drive efficiencies, improve reliability and reduce costs

• Highly Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to decompose complex issues and tell the story to all levels of leadership.

• Ability to perform under stress and/or competing priorities

• Analytical skills: Able to analyze data and trends at a deeper level, report and escalate when needed, recognize trends in performance and identify systemic skill gaps to curate solutions and readiness needs

• Prioritization: Identifies key drivers and opportunities; identifies levers that influence trends; then prioritizes focus for greatest and most critical impact

• Proven competency in interacting efficiently and effectively with organizational leaders, business partners, and key executives to drive decisions

• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also as an engaged member of the team

Desired Skills:

• Highly Proficient in SharePoint and familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools (SQL, Tableau)

•  Bachelors Degree

•  Project management skills

•  Organized, detail and process oriented with strong execution skills and ability to drive towards continuous improvement

•  Prior Experience working in Reporting and Analytics

•  Strong knowledge of Risk Framework including Laws, Rules, Regulations, Policies, Standards, Process/Control/Metric assessment experience
