Preferred Rewards Marketing Program Manager

Job Description:

Responsible for Rewards marketing strategy, value proposition and end-to-end marketing plans including coordination and integration across segments, products and programs (Preferred Segment, Merrill Investing, Private Bank).

 
The candidate will work collaboratively with Product Marketing, Channel and Agency partners, providing expert input and guidance on Preferred Segment strategies and the growth strategy of Preferred Rewards.  Preferred Rewards is the key value proposition for our 26 million Preferred Clients; working to get more of our clients to enroll in Preferred Rewards is a key strategic imperative and Marketing plays a key role.   This role gives the candidate the opportunity to play a big part in a strategic program and get exposed to (and learn about) many areas of the Bank.

Our Preferred Rewards Marketing Program Managers 1) influence the overall business strategy, 2) design programs around certain sub-segments within Preferred, 3) support multiple channels, 4) drive research on client insights and program positioning, 5) influence the approach of our Product Marketing partners to ensure they keep Preferred Rewards benefits in mind when designing their strategies, 6) use data and analytics to increase program performance, 7) are at the forefront of adopting new self-service tools and technologies to personalize our client experiences. 

Enterprise Job Description:

Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of marketing strategies and activities supporting all aspects of sales and service for the Preferred Rewards loyalty program. Manages all programs to provide high quality engagements with our clients that help meet or exceed all goals around program enrollment, deepening and uptiering. Interacts with senior management on the campaign design and execution plus leads the discussion on performance and recommendations.

Ideal candidates with have 10+ years in overall Marketing experience with Digital experience a plus.  Candidates will also need experience of working with (and drawing conclusions from) large amounts of data.  Plus, candidates will also need a comfort level with technology and tools that currently exist and those that are under development at the Bank.  The ability to partner and influence across an organization is an important factor in the successful achievement of goals plus the knowledge of banking and investing products and the regulatory constraints around both.
