Technical Delivery Analyst

Job Description:

This role is responsible for the governance routines, data management, SharePoint, communication, and reporting relating to technology risks in MAPS.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing and summarizing historical analyses and reports of system configurations and usage metrics

  • Collaborating with technical resources - including application teams, project managers, and development groups

  • Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and delivery of Risk Management deliverables

  • Communicates the target outcomes, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards

  • Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal

  • Responsible to provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule

  • Ensures the work delivered complies with Enterprise Risk Management standards

  • Provides input to define/improve the Risk Management process including the design of sustainability routines

Required Skills:

  • Practical knowledge and experience with OS internals, performance monitoring and data collection tools

  • Ability to use tools to parse, merge, analyse, and present performance and capacity data

  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong verbal presentation and written communications skills

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, set own priorities, and manage multiple concurrent projects

  • Experience with preparing and summarizing historical analyses and reports of system configurations and usage metrics

  • Ability to periodically present capacity utilization assessments and forecast results with stakeholders

  • Experience collaborating with technical and business teams - including business analysts, application teams, project managers, and development groups

  • Experience overseeing compliance and audit reviews with internal and external resources

  • Experience in writing stakeholder presentations and reports in PowerPoint.

Works with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team. Possess a foundational understanding of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization. Developing an understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software). Analyzes the stakeholder process to build efficiencies and also analyzes the software to improve or implement that process. Gathers and catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests. Analyzes functional and data requirements. Answers the questions: What does the software do and how does it store information? Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting. Identifies, documents and troubleshoots application related problems. Documents process, procedures and workflows associated with applications. Creates and maintains training materials for end-users. Individual contributor.
