Role Description:

The role entails the following responsibilities: -

  • Tax form remediation
  • Refresh of expired tax forms
  • Collection of forms for a Change in Circumstance (CIC)
  • GIIN (Global Intermediary Identification Number) Refresh
  • Instigation of account updates via Operations team
  • Reporting validation (weekly, monthly and annually)
  • Withholding tax reconciliation
  • General tax enquiries
  • Translation and dissemination of Global Tax communications
  • Training of Fulfilment, Service and Operations where necessary

The Team:

The EMEA Tax Operations Team is part of the Global Fulfilment and Service organization and has both Global and Regional reporting lines.  It is responsible for supporting all elements of the collection, validation and enquiry process of the FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance ACT) and CRS (Common Reporting Standards) tax regulations.  The team liaise directly with a number of global business partners including the tax operations teams in the US, APAC and Canada/LATAM as well as Corporate and Enterprise tax, Fulfilment, Service and Operations.  The role also includes communication and training of tax requirements across the Fulfilment, Service and Operations teams.

Core Skills:

  • Knowledge of both FATCA and CRS Tax Regulations
  • Attention to detail critical
  • Working experience of Excel and PEGA
  • Proven ability to create and deliver strong business results
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Good team player, positive, enthusiastic and committed
  • Ability to prioritize, use own initiative and be flexible
  • Proactive approach to problem resolution
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, navigate change and prioritize daily
