Audit Supervisor - CFO Regulation W

Job Description:

As a Bank of America Audit Supervisor on the CFO Audit Team, you will be a key team leader who will provide expertise, advice and counsel based on advanced business and/or audit experience to a complex business and/or across several businesses groups and provide leadership for projects and team activities. You will proactively implement audit strategy for the sound application of risk based practices by defining audit scope, audit program, review and test procedures. You will exercise judgment and influence senior business managers and peers. You will help business partners balance their business strategy with appropriate risk management controls. You will also use data analytics and tools to advance audit techniques.  This position also requires you to interact with regulatory agencies, external consultants and other internal risk management groups.

Required skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience (range between 5-7 years of experience) in the Audit, Compliance, or Risk function of a large financial services company, multi-national company, public accounting firm, or with a regulatory agency with strong track record of success and demonstrated progression in complexity of assignments
  • Strong focus on regulatory compliance and reporting requirements, specifically related to Regulation W (Federal Reserve Act 23A and 23B) and Regulatory Reporting (Call Report, FRY-9, FRY-8, etc.)
  • Individual with desire to learn and teach others, high energy, positive attitude and be a leader through change
  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively challenge and influence and strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities; Able to develop and convey a point of view
  • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude. Able to thrive in a dynamic team environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize work and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
  • Creative thinker who can map out creative solutions and lead their implementation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with dedication to superior service.
  • PC proficiency, including spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software applications.  Knows or is willing to learn new data analytics and testing tools and techniques.
  • Unquestionable business and personal integrity and values congruent with those of the organization.
  • Able to travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong financial services and regulatory reporting knowledge
  • Extensive experience auditing US bank regulatory and capital reporting, compliance or examining financial institutions
