Enterprise Overview:

Performs qualitative and quantitative business analysis encompassing banking, functional design and systems issues within scope of assigned project. Typically coordinates successful resolution of issues arising during course of project to ensure timely completion of critical tasks. Ensures project objectives are achieved on schedule and monitored through detailed project work plan. Ensures projects are within scope of strategic and marketing plan for the Asset Management Group.

LOB Description:

The Project Enablement executes projects in support of the overall GWIM data strategy, which focusses on both short term tactical and long term strategic solutions on how GWIM gathers, stores and uses client data.  This includes any changes to client, account, relationships, data and applications relative to onboarding and maintenance activities as well as data transmissions and digitization efforts. The Business Analysts/Enterprise Product Owners are responsible for liaising new project requests between business and technology partners for purposes of managing the people/process deliverables for the entire lifecycle of the business change.  They will facilitate project definition and requirements documentation, and ensure requirement traceability and governance throughout the project life cycle. Communication publications announcing the business change is also managed by the BA.  The teams focus is to drive adoption of a client-centric services paradigm within GWIM.

This is a role specifically supporting the OpEx COBE and Paragon efforts as well as IIP. The individual in this position will serve as the Product Owner and will be responsible for the delivery of business requirements and communication publications and testing for multiple projects of small to complex in nature as well as to influence business and technology partners to adhere to the governance principles. A firm understanding of the business request  and impacts to the Client, Account & Relationship Data and Applications  platform is needed in order to define the business and functional requirements to solve for the business change.  The individual will shepherd the project throughout Systems Development Lifecycle ensuring business requirements and milestones are met throughout and the approach for the project is in line with the strategic direction. This role will also be responsible for managing Boss Administration specific functions for the team.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in business analysis, process design and project management, including development of formal business requirements documents (BRDs) and / or Agile epics/stories/JIRA tool and business process flows
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to tell a story; leveraging analysis to identify and solve business problems by creating actionable recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to facilitate and lead remote, cross-functional, cross-location meetings
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain strong internal/external relationships and the courage to influence and challenge when necessary
  • Detail oriented, intellectually curious, and self-driven; ability to think independently
  • Some weekend work required for project release testing, etc.
  • Ability to interact with various band levels
  • Ability to work within an environment with a variety of opinions and priorities and be able to get to a resolution and agreement
  • Ability to formulate outputs derived from projects into concise and insightful presentations
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently negotiate changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
