Job Title: Global Human Resources Operations (Finance & Banking)

LOB: Global Human Resources Share Services  

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

Location: Camberley

A new opportunity has become available within The EMEA Finance & Operations group based in the Camberley office. This is an Assistant Vice President role that will report directly into the EMEA HR Finance & Operations Manager and will oversee all banking relationships within Global Human Resources.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within a Shared Services environment, including supporting Pay delivery or financial control.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the EMEA HR Finance and Operations Manager in day to day operation of the function, managing key internal & external relationships and be the point of contact for new initiatives and controls

  • Oversee our regional banking relationships within GHR, be main point of contact for new account openings, vendor changes and any day to day payment discrepancies

  • Work with our payroll function to review our payment processes to ensure our controls are adhered to and we remain operationally efficient

  • Have responsibility for our mandated reporting tasks, notably sanctions screening, regulatory reporting and payroll controls testing

  • Control over vendor invoicing under GHR SS supervision in terms of validation and expense management process for pay vendors

  • Assist in coordinating the HR Finance touching annual external audit

The Team:

The EMEA Finance & Operations group are a team of 9 based in 2 locations; Camberley & Chester. We exist primarily as a control function for all personnel expense, supervising all entries into the ledger as well ensuring all payments are made in accordance with local deliverables.

Exposure is vast and includes, but not limited to:

  • Network Management (for Banking Vendors)

  • Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Central Project Management Teams

  • Treasury & Global Ops

  • Wider GHR footprint

The team has existed in its current form for 4 years, however we are currently undergoing some changes to allow us to be more effective within the region as well as broaden our coverage to align global processes.

Core Skills:

  • A confident financial acumen and attention to detail

  • Can demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in how they approach their day to day duties and be ready to support ad hoc deliverables

  • Knowledge of different banking platforms and pay methods in order to converse and lead in developmental and query resolutions.

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and think proactively;

  • Excellent PC skills – in particular Microsoft Excel

  • A proven ability to prioritise and organise workload on a changing basis

  • Excellent communication skills (written & oral) as this role will liaise with multiple teams cross the organisation.

  • Have good analytical skills and should display initiative in proposing improvements to the current process

  • Team player with positive and flexible attitude
