Workflow Manager

Job Description:

The Workflow Manager partners with EIT functional leads and test owners to organize the end-to-end view of test portfolios. Working with Testing Managers and other functional leads, the Workflow Manager accurately and effectively measures and monitors testing portfolios, resources, work load, and/or capacity based on historical performance and projections. This role develops operations/data, strategies and operational guidelines for the organization's data capacity routines in support of Independent Testing objectives.

 

The Workflow Manager the day-to-day activities and processes of any unit, including managing service level agreements, fluctuations in volume and fluctuations in staffing. Handles the implementation of new and revised systems, procedures and methods that apply to and improve the prospective unit function(s). Monitors associate productivity and quality, to ensure sufficient development and training of associates.

 

Responsible for document processing workflow. Ensure associate favorability is top priority of respective unit. Maintain associate satisfaction. Works under the direction of the Unit Leader on strategies and processes to provide associate fulfillment. Broad-based knowledge of financial-service-related operations. Expertise in specific line of business as it relates to technology and policies. Strong planning skills, as well as the ability to understand macro management and cross-functional organization.

 

Proven leadership ability in directing a diverse organization. Strong oral and written communication skills. Capacity for decision making and strong organizational abilities. Ability to handle technology-based systems. Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with bank associates of every level, and other fulfillment units; including handling complaints and resolving complex issues with little direction given.

 

The Workflow Manager is a member of the Enterprise Independent Testing team and implements the planning and capacity strategy for the Enterprise Independent Testing function, to ensure test development and/or test execution is delivered according to plan.

 

The Workflow Manager accurately and effectively measures and monitors resources, work load, and/or capacity based on historical performance and projections. This role develops operations/data, strategies and operational guidelines for the organization's data capacity routines in support of Independent Testing objectives.

 

The Workflow Manager ensures consistent quality of activities, processes and outputs by establishing effective review of practices across the team. This role may contribute as a manager responsible for providing leadership direction to attract, assess, develop, motivate and retain a small team, or may act as an individual contributor

Required/Desired

  • 5 years’ experience in Audit, Operations, Compliance and Risk, or Testing related function
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferred expert-level understanding of EIT’s systems and interdependent processes
  • Experience in process management and influential leadership
  • Experience with capacity forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Ability to influence people during times of significant change and operate in fluid environments.
  • High attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Ability to manage time to effectively progress on concurrent activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to build positive partnerships
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Strong project management and process skills
  • Ability to maintain flexibility/adaptability during times of significant change
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
