Job Title: Vice President, Global Markets Audit

Corporate Title: Vice President

Role Description:

Leading risk assessments of auditable businesses (these results drive audit coverage cycles for businesses) Leading the planning and execution of planned audits (per audit cycle) and targeted/ ad-hoc audits (e.g. in response to emerging risk), providing assurance to senior management over the effectiveness of the control environment in the region. Independently executes audit test work and all other assigned audit engagements utilizing sound analytical skills and possesses good product, business, and technical expertise Providing oversight, coaching of junior auditors enabling them to develop technical and soft skills to progress their careers Providing SME support to the Issue Validation team when validating the closure of significant findings/ issues Monitoring Industry and emerging risks analysis and following up on unusual trends or significant risks. Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment.

The Team:

The EMEA GM Operations Audit team currently comprises of 12 auditors with diverse experience and skills. The team is well diversified in relation to gender and ethnicity with a strong focus on ensuring the physical and mental wellness of associates,  maintaining team spirit, sharing knowledge and experience, valuing every associate’s contribution, helping associates to develop and progress their careers and well as ensuring that associates enjoy the work environment (whether working virtually or in the office). We also offer internal and external training opportunities to associates to develop their technical/ product and soft skills. 

Core Skills:

Required Skills:

Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance, Finance or other relevant experience Ability to plan, execute and evaluate audit test plans within a risk- based audit methodology. Sound organizational, oral and written communication skills.   Self-starter, desire to learn able to teach others, positive attitude, exhibits flexibility. Strong analytical skills.  Ability to analyze large amounts of data and turn it into usable information. Ability to work in a very detailed manner as well as to look broadly across a population and develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns. Ability to juggle multiple work efforts and to quickly change direction, as needed Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products Ability to communicate effectively with management on all levels

Desired Skills:

Audit/ Risk/ Control team experience in financial services Intermediate Analytical / Automation Skills (SQL, SAS, Advanced Excel and Access) Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, FRM, etc.) Good presentation skills
