Senior IAM Security Developer

Job Description:

The Senior IAM Security Developer for the ADS Identity Management Engineering team is a member of the Security Application Development team and performs application development and application management development.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs application development and application management
  • Involved at all stages of the application development lifecycle including requirements gathering and analysis 
  • Interfaces with cross-functional teams to deliver the feature set being requested by Bank’s technologists
  • Upkeeps and performs maintenance of the infrastructure hosting the application
  • Possesses strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry
  • Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset
  • Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Strong penchant for automation; for example automation of manual release activities
  • Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack

Required Job Skills:

  • Extensive experience developing multi-tiered Windows applications using C# -
  • Extensive experience using various technologies such as REST, WebApi, SQL, ORM, IoC, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, CI/CD
  • Experience with LDAP queries, Active Directory Principles and Identity management, OU structure
  • Experience implementing workflows and enterprise distributed applications
  • Good understanding of databases and the ability to handcraft SQL queries
  • Deep understanding of software development patterns and best practices - SOLID, DRY, BASE, ACID, CAP
  • Knowledge of JS and UI development
  • Strong refactoring skills
  • Excellent communication & inter-personal skills;

Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas. Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Designs/develops/modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained. Designs/develops/maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance). Sets up and develops a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline. Automates manual release activities. Mentors other Software Engineers and coaches team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack. Individual contributor.
