Vice President – Application Manager

Your background

  • Previous application management/ownership background - 3 or more years' experience.
  • Previous Information Security, Audit, Risk, and/or Compliance – 3 or more years’ experience or 6 years of experience working in technology projects in development/ QA capacity.
  • Experience working with Internal/ External Auditors.
  • Demonstrated ability to use multiple governed systems report and record deliverables.
  • Experience working with Servers, Vulnerabilities and Software patches
  • Understanding or working experience with SDLC/Agile teams and utilizing JIRA & Confluence
  • Jira experience for creating and maintaining stories and subtasks.

What you can expect

1.Ensure that risk, security, and other compliance deliverables are completed on-time and per requirements for the applications they support
2.Complete administrative and non-technical tasks related to compliance deliverables –e.g. access reviews, assessments, questionnaires, procedural requirements, etc.
3.Assist with audit exams and risk assessments for the applications
4.Track and support the technical security and risk activities performed by the development teams / infrastructure teams –e.g. remediation of NPT or security vulnerabilities, technical recovery planning, disaster recovery exercises, patching and upgrade etc.
5.Maintain data about the application in AppHQ and other systems of records.
6.For vendor applications, work closely with the vendor to ensure the application meets bank requirements
7.Assist with ad hoc inquiries and questions about the application
8.Interface with technology infrastructure teams for infrastructure requirements like requests for additional storage

9. Raise Risk Accept/Mitigate/ JDI for risks.

10. Understand Application roles and ensure ARM access provisioning and access reviews in line with Organization polices and application needs.

11. Create and manage Service ID usage and life cycle.

12. Work with Business Partners, Development managers, leads, Risk functions to provide status reporting on the overall status of the LOB.

13. Coordinate with Global team on Application deliverables tracking.

What you will do

Application Inventory Tool (AIT) owner/manager will coordinate delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables.

Key responsibilities include completing administrative and non-technical tasks related to compliance deliverables and infrastructure requests for the applications they support. They support vendors, development teams, and Technology Managers to ensure technical security, risk, and other compliance activities are completed on-time and per requirements. These individuals partner closely with control functions, risk management, and GIS and are familiar with the applicable policies, standards, LRRs, contacts and procedures so that the compliance deliverables are completed effectively and efficiently. The Application Control Specialist is an individual contributor working with multiple teams at the team or program level.
