Digital Marketing Product Manager - Credit Card

The Team:

The Consumer Credit Card Digital Marketing team has a newly opened position to support the strategy, development, and delivery of marketing to existing credit card clients across E-mail and Bank of America owned digital channels. 

This role will be responsible for driving the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns to our existing cardholders, including trigger based efforts to deliver relevant and timely messaging to our clients at various points of the credit card lifecycle.  The primary responsibilities will include partnering with various stakeholders to bring our card campaigns to market or make updates to existing in-market campaigns.  The ideal candidate would also be comfortable interacting with external agency partners to drive creative development.

This role gives the candidate the opportunity to contribute to, as well as learn about, the digital channel and the credit card business – two critical growth drivers. The role also gets visibility into marketing efforts for other products through knowledge sharing and business reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing programs for our card clients by partnering with internal partners as well as external creative agencies to bring efforts to market.
  • Drive creative development or creative updates through all parts of the campaign lifecycle, working with marketing, creative teams, legal, brand, and product partners.
  • Use your knowledge of the business and internal processes, as well as creative thinking, to find the most efficient way to develop campaigns.
  • Evaluate performance and recommend changes or tactics to inform and influence strategic decisions.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience managing and executing marketing and/or digital initiatives
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with creative agencies and/or vendor partners
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, ability to adapt to changing requirements, and capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, matrix organization
  • Well organized and detail oriented but also able to think about the bigger picture
  • Intellectual curiosity to dig in and question the “Why” behind things
  • Proficient in MS Office Product Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)

Desired Skills:

  • Financial services experience
  • Experience with targeted digital marketing campaigns (E-mail, Online, Mobile, etc.) including target selection, design, tactical implementation and back-end tracking.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and use the results to inform marketing strategy and tactics
  • Knowledge of consumer credit card industry
