PMO Consultant – Global Human Resources - Adoption & Engagement

Job Description:

The Global Human Resources (GHR) PMO team oversees the execution, integration, stakeholder engagement and risk management of change projects executed across GHR.

In this role, you may partner with other teams and resources to develop and deliver components of the adoption and engagement plan.

You will work with business SMEs, project managers and service delivery partners to identify stakeholders and impacted audiences and to develop audience impacts analyses. You may also work with Global Learning and Internal & Corporate Communications to develop training and communications for impacted audiences.

Project Management responsibilities may include utilizing enterprise change management tools and partnering with HR project teams on change manager requirements and deliverables related to the project’s Change Adoption Plan.

Responsibilities Include

  • Work directly with key HR l business partners to develop communications and engagement strategy and tactics that support HR and project goals.
  • Responsibilities may include stakeholder analysis, audience impacts assessment, comprehensive strategy development, development and execution of the tactics in the strategy/plan including engagement routines/processes, partnership with Global Learning and Internal & Corporate Communications on training and communications required, measurement planning and execution, etc.

Enterprise Role Overview

Contributes to programs/projects specific to corporate change initiatives that have significant impact on how the company does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Assesses the adoption risk associated with the change effort. Identifies, develops and executes strategies and supporting tactics to engage and influence all stakeholders to make needed behavioral changes. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Responsible for tracking project milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Experience with BAC Change and Project Management tools and processes. Responsible for Clarity and PCM updates and project documents. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed from them. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Typically 1-3 plus years of project or program management support experience.

  • 3 + yrs. successful performance in a role responsible for employee readiness/adoption and engagement
  • Presence, intellectual capacity and confidence to counsel executives and support high-profile initiatives
  • Proven ability to understand and articulate complex subjects to sophisticated audiences, and simplify material as necessary for broader audiences
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to think/act both strategically and tactically and to maintain a focus on and passion for improving the employee/manager experience
  • Motivated self-starter who is able to proactively offer ideas and strategies and make decisions, not just execute on what is asked
  • Ability to navigate and exert influence in a highly-matrixed environment and connect the dots
  • Must be a dedicated team player comfortable working in a large, complex organization
  • Ability to scope a project, identify key stakeholders, bring together many points of view into a cohesive overview, and execute a plan to reach varied audiences
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues in many locations and manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships and demonstrate leadership skills
  • Experience managing other resources to execute a project
