Talent Acquisition Recruiter - Investment Banking & Capital Markets

Job Description:

The Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) Talent Acquisition team is responsible for executing the recruitment strategy across Global Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Global Capital Markets and Leasing at Bank of America.  The team works closely with product and sector managers across these lines of business to attract talent for open positions, from MD-level to Analyst.  The GCIB Talent Acquisition Associate will have a high degree of visibility and a considerable impact on one of the premier banking franchises in the market. The successful candidate must possess a strong commercial mindset, sound judgment, integrity, and self-confidence with a strong desire to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the end to end recruitment process for the business, including job posting, candidate selection & screening, offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with business management by providing sound advice, seamless execution and strong attention to detail.
  • Deliver consultative search recruiting services including diversity outreach, research, market intelligence, sourcing and client engagement.
  • Practice continuous networking and pipelining in support of building a diverse bench of industry talent.
  • Become familiar with trends across the investment banking industry to incorporate into recruitment best practices.
  • Champion GCIB Talent Acquisition operational excellence, compliance and diversity efforts.
  • Support Team Lead with administrative and adhoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional full-cycle recruiting experience in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to work across large, complex organization to achieve results.
  • Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to action requests in a timely manner.
  • Must have client management experience, with the ability to influence and consult with hiring managers.
  • Experience leading candidate selection and assessment through interviews, line of business engagement, skills assessments and offer negotiations.
  • Must demonstrate both good judgment and communication.
  • Must have an ability and desire to stay abreast of market conditions and use data to inform decisions.
  • Use innovative techniques to meet the staffing needs of the business.
  • Excellent candidate management capabilities, including managing salary negotiations from pre-qualifying to “close.”
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable to rapid change.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree Required or equivalent experience.
