Description:

This role provides quality assurance for the Private Bank’s on boarding & refresh processes and Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, ancillary documentation reviews and other high risk centralized supervisory functions supporting the Private Bank.

  • Perform regulatory mandated KYC review submitted by Private Bank (PB) client facing employees
  • Perform other centralized supervisory functions for high risk processes such as Volcker determination, AML alert oversight.   
  • Work closely with the Sales Supervision Team and PB client facing leaders and employees by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships to ensure all KYC information and other job functions are  documented in accordance with policy guidelines set by the Firm and industry regulations.
  • Communicate effectively (both written and oral) with Supervision Team and PB client facing employees using clear, concise, and understandable language
  • Identify supervisory areas of concern, ongoing issues, and recurring patterns at an employee, office or management level
  • Proactively anticipate and identify concerns/issues as part of one’s daily responsibilities
  • Demonstrate sound and consistent supervisory judgment based on thorough and systematic review of information available
  • Maintain positive outlook, receptivity to constructive feedback, and flexibility to accommodate changing processes, policies, and regulations

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Desired (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of Know Your Customer regulatory policies as well as Anti-Money Laundering policies/procedures is helpful
  • Series 7, 63, 24 (or equivalent licenses) or willingness to obtain in a prescribed timeframe
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of products
  • Candidates with SharePoint site experience and expertise is helpful
