Vice President, Credit Operations Manager

Your background

  • At least 10 years of Banking or Financial Institution working experience
  • Solid lending and credit approvals experience
  • Strong documentations knowledge and understand regulatory requirement
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet internal and regulatory deadlines and address competing priorities
  • Ability to manage alliances, relationship with regulator(s), internal/external stakeholders, cross functional initiatives and process integration
  • Solid knowledge on problem analysis and problem-solving
  • Strong credit operations and credit servicing experience would be an advantage

The business is looking for dynamic and talented individuals to support the strategy in order to meet the growth demands from clients and client management groups in the product areas of Payments/Wire, Trade & Credit Services, Bank Notes, etc.

Working with our varied multi-national corporate client, you will help to on-board and implement our cash management and treasury services, building solid relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor. This role offers a high level of visibility as you’ll work in conjunction with a number of other internal teams to provide seamless delivery to, and build relationships with a variety of client stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Responsible to review credit, loan and trade finance bank agreements and ensure to meet bank and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with Credit Risk team, Bankers, KYC team and offshore team on credit facility and credit line setup
  • Ensure all regulatory reporting and exception reporting to be submitted
  • Lead or support ad hoc projects, e.g. Loan IQ migration, LIBOR transition, remediation, etc.
  • Participate and lead the process improvement initiatives
  • Handle escalations for any urgent matters  
  • Plan and prioritize the team matters
  • Provide guideline and coaching to team members on daily routine
  • Work closely with management to achieve the bank’s goals and objectives
