Talent Acquisition Consultant – Junior Talent

This is a hybrid role where the candidate will hire for junior talent (experienced and campus) for the India entity.

What you will do

Campus hiring:

  • The individual will hire for campus talent across multiple LOBs in India – across Global Banking, Global Markets, Global Operations and Technology and Control functions.)

  • They will help the team to manage the end-to-end campus recruiting process for intern and full-time Analyst programs across LOBs

  • Build strong partnership with line of business representatives and campus program sponsors. Consult and coordinate with these partners throughout the recruiting season to plan a successful recruiting strategy.

  • Streamline recruiting efforts to ensure a candidate pipeline that supports the junior talent hiring needs of our lines of business

  • Ensure diversity is a top priority. Work with several diversity organizations, both internal and external, to ensure a diverse pipeline of candidates. Partner with Diversity Team on key diversity initiatives and events

  • Manage candidate review and interview process for both Summer Intern and Full-Time programs including resume review, video interview, and final round interview. Liaise with candidates throughout the end-to-end hiring process including sharing timeline, confirming interview logistics, and communicating offer details

  • Facilitate the onboarding processes in conjunction with Recruiting Coordinators

  • Plan and execute 10-week Summer Internship Program in collaboration with broader campus team and business leaders including a mentor program, performance review process and end-of-summer offer process.

  • Plan and attend intern training, events and activities where appropriate

  • Partner with regional campus team on best practices and to ensure that campus programs and initiatives run in-country align with regional priorities.

Experienced hiring:

  • Own the end to end recruitment process for technology and operations LOBs for hiring for certain levels.

  • Demonstrate professional presence while proactively managing client and candidate relationships.

  • Deliver consultative talent acquisition services including diversity outreach, research, market intelligence, sourcing strategies and client engagement.

  • Conduct effective candidate selection and assessment.

  • Practice continuous networking and pipelining in support of building a diverse bench of industry talent.

  • Understand businesses to effectively identify and recruit talent with industry expertise.

  • Champion talent acquisition operational excellence, compliance and diversity efforts.

  • Use innovative techniques to meet the talent acquisition needs of the business.

  • Develop sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of talent from a variety of sources, including search firm management.

  • Supports TA Manager/lead with administrative and adhoc projects as needed.

  • Ability to understand the industry and to effectively identify and recruit talent with expertise in various areas   

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

  • Must have client management experience, with the ability to influence internal clients & stakeholders and provide consultative services

  • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational savvy; listens and communicates in a direct, succinct manner

  • Must have strong communication skills both oral and written, including the ability to explain results of complex analysis at a level that resonates across many different audiences

  • Previous experience developing concise and effective presentations, assimilating complex data into a results-based story and effectively presenting the results. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems

  • Self-motivation, superior sense of urgency, and ability to work with multiple teams simultaneously

  • Thoughtful and demonstrates good judgment; strong decision-making skills

  • Unquestionable business and personal integrity, and values congruent with those of the organization

  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours and travel when required

Desired Skills

  • Previous leadership experience
