Senior Ops Consultant/Team Lead(Specialty Lending)

Job Description:

Primarily responsible for servicing support for our Floor Plan dealer clients throughout life of loan. Team has direct business partner contact. This specialized team process record changes, obtain approvals, etc.

Responsible for the timely and accurate onboarding of Floorplan vehicle loans, other client record and indicative data for DFS Loans on the Genesis System of Record.

Key responsibilities

  • Financial and Collateral Booking QA (Perform in-line QA to ensure the Highest level of data quality produced)
  • Produce key business metrics to share with internal and external partners
  • Help coaching DFS team on best practices and new/updated processes
  • Develop training material or process documentation to execute.
  • Maintain existing and write new operational procedures
  • Assist with SIM / OpEx projects
  • Perform periodical system testing (Genesis) including lower-level environment testing for new/upgraded functionality as well as regression testing (Coordinate technology deployment, provide testing signoff and approvals, help develop user stories, provide training to the team)

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in commercial lending
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Presentable, confident and client focused. Ability to conduct discussions with all levels of the organization, including senior management, in a confident manner.
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Successful candidate will be able to manage own time, prioritize to meet tight deadlines and know when to escalate.
  • Ability to think critically and offer creative solutions.
  • Ability/willingness to continuously learn on the job
  • Experience with project work including design, build, implementation and training
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical specs.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and exhibit flexibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks in a high-pace environment

Desired Skills

  • Experience in Commercial Lending Fulfillment (document prep, booking, etc.)
  • Foundational knowledge of general commercial lending and insurance principles.
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial credit structures.
  • Experience utilizing bank systems including CreditToolkit, CreditCenter and LoanIQ.
  • Risk management experience.
