Process Overview*

The Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support and Supply Chain Management.

Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.

Job Description*

Global Expense Management support CFO and BFO facets of business lines and delivers daily, weekly and monthly reports Onshore. The primary focus of the team is to provide key reporting and analytical insight regarding performance across all areas of the Consumer & Wealth Management businesses. The team acts as a trusted and strategic business partner who can influence results in a pro-active and efficient manner. The BFO team interacts across all levels of the Consumer & Wealth Management organization including Division Leadership, Support Partners, COO as well as across finance.

Individual willbe responsible for Change mangement for expense tools, execute on Data Management processes and procedures to validate and maintain and report the accuracy and quality of data, cost calculations, and adherence to established methodologies and maintain necessary documentation

Responsibilities*

  • Support the development, testing and deployment of new capabilities in support of ECoM, GEM and E2E (collectively “Global Expense Management”) forecasting work efforts
  • b) Support overall change management process as required for process and technology based efforts
  • c) Facilitate and support intake, monitoring, and feedback processes for Global Expense Management development requests
  • d) Maintain processes and routines to provide transparency into Global Expense Management solutions development activities
  • e) Execute on Data Management processes and procedures to validate and maintain and report the accuracy and quality of data, cost calculations, and adherence to established methodologies
  • f) Maintain detailed process maps illustrating the sourcing, transformation and reporting of financial data
  • g) Understand clients’ requirements and translate those into deliverables.
  • h) Co-ordinate with the business to resolve process bottlenecks at different levels.
  • Ensure quick resolution of any issues.
  • j) Actively participating in financial process improvement across the organization
  • k) Integrated financial analyst responsibilities on Shared Services (centralized) FP&A team
  • l) GEM report production and supporting financial analysis
