Job Title: Reconciliation Break Management – Recon Ops

Role Description:

Position will support the Global Accounting & Reconciliation Team within GBAM Ops Shared Operations. Functions include oversight and responsibility for the investigation, narration, resolution, and root cause analysis of reconciliation breaks across GBAM Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous improvement across the GBAM Ops Break Management process including:
  • Establishment of routines to investigate, narrate, resolve, and report on root cause of breaks with the goal to drive break prevention through process improvement.
  • Develop performance metrics that show how the team is performing with regards to resolving breaks and in determining the root cause of breaks.
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities that will decrease risk and manual touch points.
  • Creating successful global team structure to allow for follow the sun processing.

Key Requirements:

  • Intermediate or Advanced-level Excel experience.
  • Experience with reconciliation systems/design.
  • Presentable, confident and client focused.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present to an audience.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with and influencing all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.
  • Self-motivated and inquisitive. Successful candidate will be able to manage own time, prioritize to meet tight deadlines and know when to escalate.
  • Strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Proven process improvement experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability/willingness to continuously learn on the job.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
