Team Lead - Release and Deployment Manager, Core Technology Infrastructure

Job Description:

The Team Lead - Release and Deployment Manager, STI Network Enterprise Tower, Corporate Workplace oversees that CWP portfolio which includes new installs, building closures, and CEWAs.  Today, there are over 150 active CWP projects in which this team is involved in.  

This role handles all escalations related to the network and he is responsible for Change Management and reviewing/approving all the CWP CRQs submitted by the Release Managers.

Responsibilities:

  •          Oversees the planning and coordination of project and portfolio delivery within identified technology channels
  •          Leverages internal resources and external service providers to complete complex network programs or projects within predicted cost, time, and quality estimates
  •          Key to this role is having a “better than general” understanding of networking technologies and functions including Operations, Architecture and Engineering, Product and Service Management, Business Services and Finance
  •          Concepts such as driving value, always delivering quality, keeping commitments, being on-time and under-budget, effective and detailed communications and understanding how their work impacts how the firm competes in the market place are important
  •          Resolving project escalations, tracks and manages synergies and dependencies supporting network implementation deliverables
  •          Works closely with other lead Engineers and Program Managers and other support and service providers and helps ensure timely and on budget delivery of projects
  •          Assures the timely delivery of Status Reports, Financial Forecasts and Cost Sizing’s in accordance with the documented procedures

Required Skills:

  •          Minimum of 10 years’ experience required in technical role supporting network project/programs
  •          Strong analytical skills
  •          Experience with Change Management and CAB processes and procedures
  •          Strong background in IT service delivery role
  •          Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize work load, proactively react to issues and consistently react to shifting deadlines
  •          Ability to create meaningful data that contributes to the Change Management and Service Delivery processes

Desired Job Skills:

  •          ​Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance or related field/technical training
  •          Prior experience supporting the Financial Services Industry (Insurance, Banking, Investment Banking)
  •          Certifications in PMP, ITIL
  •          Certification in CCNA
