Analyst/ Associate- FICC Sales, Cross Asset

Business Overview

FICC Sales has created a Cross-Asset Sales group to provide comprehensive and dedicated coverage and service to key accounts.  Cross-Asset Sales will support products across all FICC Asset classes including: Rates, Credit, Emerging Markets, Municipals and Mortgages.

Role Description

  • Responsible for marketing and selling the bank’s multi product offering to our key accounts; flexible coverage model based on client need (i.e. generalist or specialist)
  • Further develop relationships with our existing clients ensuring best in class experience with focus on cross selling the bank’s products
  • Provide ideas and opinions to clients with appropriate strategies
  • Price and execute transactions with approved clients
  • Ensure all audit, legal and regulatory requirements (AML, KYC) are adhered to, including compliance with all limits

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1+ years of Fixed Income Sales experience
  • Municipal Banking Experience preferred
  • Role requires a candidate who has an exceptional level of self-motivation, drive, energy and ability to learn 
  • Experience marketing / selling financial products with in-depth understanding of Fixed Income products
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills are required
  • Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
  • Well-developed numerate skills and a good understanding of macro-and micro-economics
  • Marketing, sales and presentation skills
  • Confident with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
