Transformation and Process Lead

Job Description:

The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.

Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Business analysis 
  • Project management for implementations across trade control and confirmations for FDCO - FX, Rates, Credit, Mortgages and CPM areas. 
  • Relationship management with users and senior stakeholders in location. 
  • Analysis, test planning and implementation planning for parts of a major program of change for Global Markets

Enterprise Role Overview:

Applies technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors. Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs. May manage projects including responsibility for a project and project budget. Works under minimal supervision on enterprise wide projects requiring creative solutions. IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience.   • Business Analysis skills - requirements elicitation, interview skills, data analysis, process flow documentation, 
  • Project Management skills - able to spot risks, issues, dependencies and manage those, able to create and run to a project plan - particularly the operations tasks within it - requirements gathering, test planning, test documentation, training, implementation planning and delivery
  • Either prior tech/science experience - for development of critical thinking/logical mindset.
  • Experience in designing and implementing a new process.
  • Sees the benefit in standardization, and removal of silo's across the bank for efficient working.
