GWIM Senior Operations Representative

Processes routine/standard transactions according to established procedures and prescribed processes in support of GWIM Operations. Daily responsibilities will cover one or more operations functional areas such as: analyses, report generation, opening new accounts, trade processing, payment processing, data entry, etc. Provides quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers and clients. May provide advice and assist with training for less experienced team members. Individuals at this level are expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to Operations Team Manager and/or Supervisor. This role typically requires 1+ years of experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.

This position is for the Asset Transition Services (ATS) Specialty team. Daily job functions will include transfers processing, reconciliation and making adjustments accordingly, communicating effectively with various other back office teams, data analysis, and researching and resolving issues that arise. The associate will also be expected to learn basic reporting and build relationships with critical business partners.

Required Skills:

  • Transfers and/or reconciliation experience
  • Stellar ability to concisely communicate across multiple levels of personnel, including upper management, both written and verbally
  • Knowledge of multiple asset types
  • Strong analytical and researching skills necessary to research breaks
  • Strong follow up skills and ability to see items through to completion over a period of time
  • Ability to accurately handle high-value items with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to evaluate daily tasks for priority and structure day accordingly
  • Strong history of initiative and personal accountability
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints
  • Recognizing, researching, and resolving problems that can result in monetary or integrity loss to the firm.
  • Ability to proactively identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities to the management team.
  • Experience with Excel functions such as macros and v lookups

  • Experience with bridge screens/ops portal
  • Experience with MICS
  • Experience with TDSR
  • Experience with entry-level or basic reporting
