WHY SHOULD I APPLY? (Overview of Role)

The Segment marketing team that supports Retail, Enterprise Rewards and Consumer Credit Card plays an important role in meeting significant loan growth objectives through the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy including support in driving more than 70% of total card units. We are seeking an energetic, organized problem-solver who can help us reach our full potential in this area. You will play a key role in helping us develop and maintain a cohesive marketing strategy based on customer insights and learnings, drive coordination across lines of business, and assist with the management of accurate execution of plans across multiple channels.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? (Responsibilities)

Support cross-functional efforts to determine customer insight needs (through VOC/VOA & research), and competitive intelligence needs.

  • Use data and work with Segment Marketers / LOB to assess current performance and recommended changes to the E2E marketing strategy & customer experience.
  • Coordinate and centralize changes that impact many marketing programs.
  • Organize and assist in routines to support marketing / product strategy.
  • Review and respond to customer complaints related to marketing. Leverage complaint trends to drive positive change.
  • Develop an inventory of learnings, research, analytics, and performance metrics to help advance marketing strategy. Manage logistics for Cross-LOB sharing of these learnings. Put forward thought leadership by synthesizing results.
  • Support the maintenance of a full year drive calendar, business reviews and marketing expense plans.
  • Support prioritization recommendations based on marketing ROI contribution and potential capacity constraints
  • Support creative development and creative approval process.

  • Ability to think analytically & incorporate marketing intelligence, using data to support recommendations on questions of risk vs. reward.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate  in a concise way and ability to influence partners and drive consensus
  • Ability to be self-driven, comfortable working in white-space, and independent on identifying opportunities/ next-steps.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deliverables
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Office suite
  • A learner’s mindset
