Job Title:  Global Markets Program Manager

Corporate Title: up to Vice President

Location: Chester

Role Description:

The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.

Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.

Responsibilities:

Performing business analyst and project management tasks for a range of large scale initiatives.

Gathering inputs/requirements from users and technology teams, informing users about large programs of change, performing analysis,  documenting current and designing and documenting target state processes, performing cost/benefit analysis, business cases, status updates, project plan management, detailing the operational tasks surrounding a tech implementation.

Requirements:

Critical thinker and logical problem solver. Ability to understand a problem, explore solutions and present them with pros, cons and other considerations.

Business Analysis skills - requirements elicitation, interview skills, data analysis, process flow documentation,

Project Management skills - able to spot risks, issues, dependencies and manage those, able to create and run to a project plan - particularly the operations tasks within it - requirements gathering, test planning, test documentation, training, implementation planning and delivery.

Other Qualification:

  • Either prior tech/science experience - for development of critical thinking/logical mindset.
  • Experience in designing and implementing a new process.
  • Sees the benefit in standardisation, and removal of silo's across the bank for efficient working.
  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions
  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward
  • Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner
