Job Description:

Job Title: AVP / VP; Software Engineer II / III

Your background 

  • Excellent knowledge of C#.
  • Familiarity with Test driven development,
  • Knowledge of MVC and Razor
  • Familiarity with REST and other APIs
  • Experience in Java and full stack web development is beneficial.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to Horizon platforms and various build pipelines.
  • Excellent communicator and experience sourcing requirements from customers
  • A problem solver with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Understanding of equity markets.
  • Exchange connectivity, particularly OMX based platforms and FIX.
  • Knowledge or familiarity of IRESS is beneficial.
  • Microsoft SQL server.
  • Data analysis, particularly involving market activity reporting
  • Self-driven and flexible

What you can expect 

Australia Equity technology support a number of domestic and regional services:

ERS (Equities reporting service) is a C# platform providing multiple services to the business including trade monitoring, restricted stock notifications, NFRR reports. OAT is an exchange connected activity capture similar to a drop copy. It records all activity on the ASX and CHI-X, writing it to a database. This information is used in a large number of reports in ERS.

AET also contribute to regional teams in a variety of functions.

What you will do 

  • Development and maintenance of Australian products. This will include developing new features requested by the business as well as maintenance / bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce quality software.
  • Managing releases and change management
  • Work closely with support functions to provide full customer service
  • Work in a diverse team with various
  • AIT management activities to ensure we remain in compliance with Enterprise Governance.  
  • Planning and execution of BofA mandated activities like BCP / ARC testing.
  • Development in ERS and OAT to bring them into compliance with new BofA requirements.
  • Getting involved in regional products where capacity allows.
