Operations Analyst - 3rd Shift

Responsible for the day-to-day analysis, research and resolution of varied problems. Functions include administering defined procedures, analysis and report generation, and exception processing. Coordinates the implementation of products/services and operational solutions. May assist in designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring of new products/services. Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes. Incumbents have full working knowledge of operations environment acquired through experience in an operations environment and on the job training. Individuals typically have 2 to 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of sanctions alert generated on customer or transactional data contents – typically referred to as Relationship Screening and Transactional Screening.
  • Drive meaningful changes and continuous process improvements to ensure CoE is effective in managing economic sanctions compliance risk through an efficient process.
  • Act as the liaison for all economic sanctions compliance matters for client management and key regional clients (where required)

Minimum Required Skills:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Typing and Data entry experience
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to be punctual
  • Able to work weekends/overtime when needed
  • Experience with working independently and on teams
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Wire Operations and the payment process.   
  • Understanding of the importance of economic sanctions in the payment process.  
  • Experience & Knowledge of economic sanctions program requirements and disposition of sanctions alerts.
