Job Description Summary

Responsible for the day to day operations of team of mortgage loan coordinators. Primary focus of the position is to manage the clerical/administrative and loan processing duties of a centralized sales site. Plans, directs, supervises and evaluates work flow and performance. Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements. Recognizes and recommends operational improvements. Responsible for the day-to-day application of organizational policies and procedures. Will monitor performance of staff members according to established monitoring standards. May approve special price concessions, quotes, bids allowances or adjustments. Involved in hiring decisions and conducts performance appraisals. Champions Bank of America Spirit and consultative sales culture. Enthusiastically supports sales and Customer Care strategies. Fosters internal business partner relationships. Typically requires 3-5 years experience.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. If your position requires SAFE Act registration, you will be required to register and to submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in your immediate termination.

Coordinated work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements. Recognizes and recommends operational improvements. Required Skills

  • 2-5 years mortgage background
  • 1+ years call center experience
  • Thorough knowledge of purchase mortgage products and programs
  • Understands and comprehends the Mortgage Loan Process through closing
  • Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills including a fundamental understanding of MS applications, database management
  • Capable of pursuing Bank of America resources and how to access them
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with customers and multiple partners

Desired Skills

  • Previous Management Experience in a high volume call center
  • Mortgage Loan Experience
  • Experience within a Call Center

Required to work from the primary work location listed when not in remote operating stance
Initially you may be required to work from home in this role: 
Internet Service Provider at home (no public WiFi or Internet)(high speed internet access and a secure or password-protected internet connection)
Sufficient room to set up a laptop, monitor, keyboard and mouse
Comfortable space to work for a full shift 
Quiet, private and SECURE space in which to work
