Strategic Analyst III - Mortgage Servicing

Job Description:

Responsible for performing more complex analysis and account level review within Mortgage Servicing, understanding process, systems, codes, trends, recommendations at both account level to remediate and at a process level for process transformation and simplification. Manages risk within scope, maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Helps develops complex program changes, supports issues management, uses data to analyze conditions. Creates and updates desktop policy and procedures and  process or regulatory changes. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Builds relationships within the organization. Participates in leading on and executing changes and decisions made. Duties include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. Technically astute.  

Required Skills:

  • Understands Mortgage Servicing end to end
  • Knowledge of bank systems: MSP, Loss Mitigation systems and process, Loss Mitigation and Default Servicing codes, Default process, Servicing processes related to Loss Mitigation eg ACH/Payment, Escrow, Foreclosure, and Bankruptcy Master file change
  • Strong written & verbal skills
  • Independent, self starter
  • Organized
  • Detailed and technically strong in use of desktop applications and tools.
  • Leadership skills
  • Proactive
  • Intellectually inquisitive
  • Detailed oriented with an audit mentality
