Vice President – Axiom Solution Designer - Risk and Finance Technology

Your background

  • 10+ years of Axiom Project experience with at least 3 years in Designing / Architecting solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Financial Products and regulatory reporting and experience working with Finance users.
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong technical development experience on, effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices on configuration management.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Minimum 3 year experience in Axiom Product for Finance regulatory reporting and experience to multiple Regulators in APAC.
  • Experience working in agile development process and good understanding of various phases of Software Development Lifecycle Relational database experience.
  • Scrum Master Certification / experience would be advantage.
  • Manages Core Technology deliverables and Projects including platform and technology upgrades.
  • Good technical skills on Oracle Database with exposure to Java, Python, UNIX and Autosys to be able to define solutions using the tech stack.
  • Should be able to handle multiple projects, managed teams in on-site - off-site delivery models
  • Demonstrated resource management experience and delivery experience.
  • Contributes as an effective team member and takes accountability for deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers

What you can expect

This role needs to provide technical leadership to medium size/complexity projects, to analyze and develop database models, technical requirements and develop technical documents.

In this role you will have a specific focus on architecture standardization and simplification, as well as ownership on leading efforts for development and creating design, documentation and working with offshore technical team to deliver projects.

What you will do

  • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple projects from definition phase through implementation.
  • Provide Solutions and work with global architecture team to enhance and standardize the platform in all regions.
  • Create POC for new solutions.
  • Manage Platform upgrade projects.
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm
  • Advanced knowledge of application and data design patterns
  • Defines, communicates and enforces coding standards.
  • Ability to instruct individuals to get best outcomes in various aspects of SDLC.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and Onboard right talent resources
  • Develop best practices for performance and operational efficiency
  • Provide status reporting regarding services provided by the team
  • Measure the performance and utilization of resources
  • Provide guidance to the team on best practices on the process
  • Provide subject matter expertise, with innovative ideas and collaboration for the development and delivery
  • Manages risks while ensuring optimal value and outcomes are achieved. Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
