Job Title: Europe Regulatory Reporting Projects Team

A new opportunity has become available in the European Regulatory Reporting (ERR) Team within the CFO Global Financial Control (GFC) department. Reporting into the Europe Regulatory Reporting Projects Lead, the successful candidate will support the Projects Lead and ERR team with all aspects of Operational Excellence and Operating Model development as it relates to production of regulatory reporting to the European primary regulators including the CBI, ACPR and PRA for BofA Europe DAC (and branches), BofASE and MLI legal entities.

Responsibilities:

The role requires an individual with change management experience who will support and empower teams through the OpEx cycle including process understanding, process simplification and improvements, and organizational realignment. The person in this role will also provide a central point of contact for implementation of business process changes required as a result of technology change. Their role will support by assisting or leading transformations through:

  • Designs and facilitates efficient execution of production activities

  • Embeds Operational Excellence, process improvement and optimization mindset and skills within the Europe Regulatory Reporting Team

  • Drives business readiness as technology solutions come on-board, where appropriate

The Team:

  • Role is working alongside a team in London, the ERR team located in India, Dublin and Paris

  • A separate GFC Change team is led and located in London and heavily dedicated to the ongoing development of the ERR team’s capabilities. There will be close collaboration with this team and support close interaction between ERR and GFC Change.

  • Interaction will be across whole of EMEA CFO group, as well as Front Office, Risk partners and Technology

Core Skills:

  • Extensive experience within the financial services or banking industry

  • Confident understanding of Finance processes including governance and controls, with proven ability to drive change

  • Program / project management experience, including process improvement efforts with multi-location teams and partners

  • Ability to work with and across a team in multiple locations

  • Proven organizational, motivational leadership and negotiating skills

  • Knowledge of European regulatory reporting (preferred )

  • Qualified accountant or qualified by experience for role

  • Expected competencies for success in this role include:

  • People Leadership – ability to lead through influence, motivate and empower others, indirectly managing/leading and multi-tasking across multiple teams and locations

  • Partnering – ability to partner collaboratively and constructively, within the ERR team, across the GFC group and more broadly across other departments

  • Communication – ability to communicate very effectively, including confident written, verbal and summarization skills
