Assistant Vice President; Service Delivery Analyst, HR Shared Services (MUMBAI)

Job Description:

Your background

  • Individual will be part of Pay Service Delivery function within the HR team. He/She will be involved in managing start to end Payroll activities, Taxation,  Statutory Compliances, Account Reconciliations,Internal / Extenal Audits, Responding to Statutory Notices / Inspection,  Year End Investment Proofs submission activities / Form 16 generation / distribution

  • Candidate should be a Chartered Accountant

  • Expert knowledge of Account Reconciliations

  • Supervise modifications in regulations and laws relevant to payroll which calls for organization policy modifications and inform the administrator of the company.

  • Acting as first point of contact in payroll and dealing promptly with client/employee issues/concerns to satisfactory resolution.

  • Identify further improvements and changes to Payroll and Taxation processes to ensure delivery of a high quality, customer focused payroll service and continued service improvement

What you can expect

  • End to end payroll and full and final process knowledge both at the vendor end and at the client’s end.

  • Ability to produce and analyze data/reports for monitoring and management of payroll information

  • Generation/Creation of  Reports using various tools and technology such as Excel, Workday

  • Candidates must have excellent communication, analytical abilities, written/oral communication skills

  • Automation/Streamline of existing reports and processes, Escalation management, Centralization of ad-hoc reports

What you will do

  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements.

  • Able to analyze and follow policies and procedures in service delivery.

  • Must have knowledge on various applicable labor laws and Taxation laws related to payroll.

  • Ability to reconcile pay runs and end of year reports.

  • Working knowledge of appropriate legislative and regulatory requirements.

  • Sound multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a complex and dynamic environment.

  • Should have strong HR experience of at least 8-10 years of managing Payroll

  • Certifications in Payroll / Statutory Compliances etc. would be an added advantage.
