Bank of America's Enterprise Credit Analytics & Information Strategy (A&IS) is responsible for aggregating and delivering high-quality global banking data for enterprise use. The team uses advanced analytics and our data to drive credit revenue growth, reduce expense and risk, and increase client value. In addition, A&IS drives portfolio optimization and pricing strategy, develops business intelligence reporting to provide relevant and timely information to the credit organization, and leads efforts across Global Banking to ensure compliance with enterprise data- related standards and initiatives.

A&IS is seeking an experienced Analytics & Business Intelligence Associate to join the Analytics & Business Intelligence Team. This team provides credit teams and key partners with comprehensive and

actionable information solutions that drive informed business decisions with a focus on efficiency, expertise and speed to market. 

The candidate's responsibilities will include the following:

Collaborate and consult with credit teams, peers and colleagues to understand their needs and objectives and promote business strategies, deliver/manage risk and drive efficiency. Explore, source and prepare the data needed to deliver analyses, reports and interactive dashboards with identifying trends and impactful visualization while promoting a culture of data-driven informed decision making delivered utilizing available Business Intelligence tools. Responsibilities will include ongoing production and ad-hoc reporting, promoting/delivering automated/self-service capabilities. Collaborating with our Technology and architecture teams to ensure an efficient, effective, and integrated approach.

• Desire to work with a collaborative team whose collective knowledge of applications, business processes and technical expertise yields accurate and timely information solutions.  Team’s pursuit of fully automated and self-service solutions allows the team to respond quickly to the needs of our information consumers

• Analytical mind with an interest in user experience and design thinking to develop impactful visualizations with a business partner mindset and driven by results.

• Analytics and Business Intelligence skill stack, from query to dashboard with deep database, data wrangling experience (Examples - SQL Server, Oracle, Toad Data Point, Teradata, Python, SAS, Alteryx, Trifacta, Tableau, Business Objects, Micro Strategy)

• Work with complex data environments with the ability to aggregate and synthesize large amounts of information into an easily understood manner.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill information and results into simple concepts and actionable insights for a variety of audiences 

• Understanding of data use governance and requirements

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of the Wholesale Credit commercial lending lifecycle, including loan origination, sale/servicing, default management/loss mitigation, policy and procedures

• Bank of America Wholesale Credit specific business, systems and data expertise. (CRP, Loan IQ, Workplace, CreditCenter (nCino), GUS, GMS, Precision Lender, Navigator, Risk Rating Scorecard, and rofitability.)

• Ability to work on cross-functional teams, with the capability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies and environments. 

• Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high priority deliverables simultaneously

• Experience participating in Agile development
