GWIM Associate Team Ops Mgr

Job Description:

The Retirement Onboarding and Operations teams within Wealth Management Operations provide onboarding, plan maintenance and operational support for Institutional and Personal Retirement clients for product lines offered through Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS).

The Institutional Trust Operations and Account Opening teams support the Institutional Trust & Custody product through RPWS and facilitating account opening & maintenance, class action filing, unique asset valuation and Schedule C reporting.

The team lead role contributes to the development and implementation of procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency and ensure that risk mitigation controls are adhered to through processing queue management and quality assurance.

Role will include the following responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring daily tasks are completed timely and accurately, providing support to front office personnel and clients
  • Systematic opening of accounts, document review, account maintenance, data scrubbing and records management
  • Participating in initiatives, identifying process enhancements and developing relationships with peers and partners
  • Lead contact between the client facing service team, Financial Advisors and Conversion Managers in order to establish efficient onboarding and maintenance processes
  • Analyzing existing functional documentation including policies, standards, desktop procedures and process maps
  • Collaborates with operations team members to identify and develop potential risk mitigation strategies
  • Supports self-identified audit issues and exams in coordination with risk leads
  • Analyze present-state process and systems, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation
  • Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion
  • Effectively communicates with managers and peers on deliverables, timelines and support needed
  • Routine metric reporting and analysis
