Our Asia Pacific team is spread across 19 cities in 12 markets. Position Description

GT&O is an organization of more than 100,000 employees and contractors worldwide. Through operations in more than 35 countries, GT&O provides end-to-end technology and fulfillment to individual consumers, small businesses, middle-market businesses and large corporations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent application production support

  • Liaison with multiple teams to support production incidents including business impact assessment, technical resolution, engagement, and communications

  • Implementation and adherence to bank incident, problem, and change management procedures

  • Schedule production release, prepare implementation plan, and hold the release review meeting

  • Perform production release and coordinate production healthy check

  • Follow the system healthy check procedure to conduct system stability healthy check

  • React on system monitoring alerts and systems events, and prioritize based on the impact

  • Maintain application support process and procedure documentation

  • Identify and remediate application/support procedure risks and gaps

  • Actively seek the opportunities to automate proactive monitoring and system health check

  • Continuously make improvement on platform stability and operational excellence  

  • Build and maintain good relationships with technology teams and business partners

  • Collaborate with technology teams and business partners to understand application functions and related upstream/downstream processing components

Requirement and Skill:

  • Strong IT background on popular technologies like J2EE/WebSphere/Tomcat/SQL/Oracle DB/MQ/XML//Linux

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English

  • Incident management skills and experience preferred

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or above

  • 5-8 years banking IT experience with application development and/or production support

  • Experience with banking payment systems (CNAPS/CIPS) preferred

  • Experience with China Regulatory reporting (ASONE/AML) preferred
