Product Senior Pricing Manager

Plano, Texas;

Job Description:

Responsible for performing and leading team members' thoughtful and inventive pricing analysis and financial modeling for multiple products in a fast paced environment with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth while minimizing risk and financial exposures. Analysis will focus on Bank returns by geography, client relationships, portfolio retention, digital mortgage and supporting Neighborhood Lending goals.  Successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of First Mortgage pricing and direct oversight experience of the creation of base pricing and loan level price adjustments that dictate final customer price. 

Utilizes portfolio trends and model outputs to create and propose innovative changes to produce optimal results and proper risk/reward tradeoff.  Build meaningful relationships with internal partners to drive change.  Participates in the launch of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. May act as an individual contributor or may lead a smaller team in developing and/or influencing pricing strategies.  Participates in the creation/enhancement of pricing processes that ensure governance requirements are met.  Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, creative thinking, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. Provide leadership and guidance to the team as needed.  Will be pricing subject matter expert for key high profile strategic initiatives.   

Required Skills: "must" have these skills to be minimally qualified.

  • 5+ years First Mortgage Lending pricing, analytics, modeling or portfolio management experience
  •  Knowledge of the mortgage secondary market transactional pricing as well as individual pricing components that drive client final price
  • Advanced Microsoft SQL Server, SAS or other coding language and Advanced Microsoft Excel
  •  Experienced data analyst. Able to perform root cause analysis on data and clearly summarize findings
  • Ability to perform end-to-end data analysis, from developing queries to data aggregation, performing analysis on data, to developing managerial level summary of findings
  • Critical thinker; ability to think beyond the data and understand Consumer behavior
  • Good communication skills (Written and Verbal) with ability to simplify complex topics and concepts into Executive level presentation
