Job Title: Transaction Reporting Project Lead

Role Description:

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen in our Transaction Reporting Team. This new role will work closely and assist the teams’ London-based Director in leading strategic project efforts; including Operational Excellence (OpEx) and end to end process management. The remit of the role will be broad; to cover end to end across Transaction Reporting Operations, lead OpEx and process management efforts (including Activity Based Costing and Cost Allocations) across all TR Ops functions. There will also be opportunities to plan and define, manage critical aspects of the strategic projects roadmap for TR Ops. This role will also provide opportunities to manage key relationships with technology and change management senior business stakeholders. The role will also provide exposure to the funding cycle for initiatives affecting both risk reduction and new regulatory change initiative projects that will get significant investment in 2022. This will cover projects that TR Ops are either sponsoring or affected by with new mandated regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Implementing a Strategic approach to a significant portfolio or regulatory compliance work driving risk reduction plans and Opex Agenda
  • Driving innovation and change both in process, risk management, culture and technology.
  • Working closely with relevant senior internal  stakeholders and external parties to ensure connectivity across functions and programs.
  • Identifying and managing operational excellence opportunities across a wide variety of processes and functions
  • Identify automation and strategic workflow tooling capabilities and execution

Core Skills:

  • Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills.
  • High sense of urgency with ability to drive results.
  • Demonstrable evidence of stakeholder management and influence across all levels including senior management.
  • Data Analytics - able to process and analyse complex data and articulate how that impacts processes and functions to asses and build recommendations
  • Ability to handle diverse workload and tight schedules.
  • Experience of Transaction Reporting and related products/businesses/Operations and/or related support functions, including good understanding of the end to end trade lifecycle and the associated processes within the support functions
  • Change Management - must be capable of managing wholesale change programs that will cross over many teams within Markets and Operations.
  • Has a proven ability to apply strategic thinking to multiple, complex organizational and business issues, and has ability to translate into practical plans for project execution.
  • Excels in working among diverse teams globally and to take on multiple viewpoints to make sound judgements and decisions/recommendations on the best solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential and ability to communicate and flex communication styles across all levels
