Job Title: Transaction Reporting Project Lead

Role Description:

This role is a strategic solutions project role to define and manage the strategic projects roadmap for Transactions Reporting Operations. In this role you will assist with managing relationships with technology and change management senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide exposure to the funding cycle for initiatives affecting both risk reduction and new regulatory change initiative projects that will get significant investment in 2022.

The Team:

The successful candidate will be working within the Client Reporting Team which covers reporting services for EMIR / MiFID / ASIC / SFTR.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Log, monitor and answer queries from internal and external clients.
  • Log, monitor and answer queries from regulators.
  • Monitor and track open issues through to resolution.
  • Initiate back loading requests and update requests.
  • Production and distribution of daily metrics on reporting, on boarding, client queries and issues.
  • Input into design and build of ongoing quality assurance to confirm completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.
  • Seek to identify and provide solutions to process improve tasks and service provided.
  • Project ownership – Owning both short- & long-term projects in relation to new regulations.
  • Assisting with the delivery of multiple technology platforms.
  • Looking for opportunities to provide ever improving service to our increasing client base.
  • Working closely with both the client reporting & Enhanced Quality Assurance (EQA) teams to enhance current control framework for delegated service clients.
  • Production and distribution of daily / weekly metrics highlighting exception volumes by client, age, priority ranking, remediation status.
  • Working with multiple internal stakeholder groups (including Remediation, Submission Control, and Compliance) to remediate exceptions in a timely manner.
  • System Integration – Working to enhance current client reporting portal to incorporate Refit MI & client reports.

Required Skillset:

  • Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills.
  • High sense of urgency with ability to drive results.
  • Demonstrable evidence of stakeholder management and influence across all levels including senior management.
  • Data Analytics - able to process  and analyze complex data and articulate how that impacts processes and functions to asses and build recommendations.
  • Ability to handle diverse workload and tight schedules.
  • Experience of Transaction Reporting and related products/businesses/Operations and/or related support functions, including good understanding of the end to end trade lifecycle and the associated processes within the support functions.
  • Change Management - must be capable of managing wholesale change programs that will cross over many teams within Markets and Operations.
  • Has a proven ability to apply strategic thinking to multiple, complex organizational and business issues, and has ability to translate into practical plans for project execution.
  • Excels in working among diverse teams globally and to take on multiple viewpoints to make sound judgements and decisions/recommendations on the best solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential and ability to communicate and flex communication styles across all levels.
