Offers and Initiative Execution Product Manager

Job Description:

Offers and Initiative Execution Product Manager is Key member of the Small Business Deposits organization, which manages the checking and savings products, incentive offers, and related services for more than 3.5MM clients with $165B+ in balances.

Offers and Initiative Execution Product Manager Primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the execution of multiple incentive offers delivered to prospective Small Business Deposit clients
  • Offers may be designed to attract existing Bank of America clients, or new-to-bank clients
  • Offers may include monetary or other incentives for businesses to open a new account and complete additional actions
  • Work with partners to design an innovative offer structure that enhances our offers strategy and increases the volume and quality of new accounts opened as a result.
  • Design elements include the incentive amount, target population and marketing channels, along with new and innovative elements that may not have been tried before
  • Set the offers up for execution, obtain governance approvals, track performance vs. targets, and manage issues or escalations that may result
  • Support teammates in the execution of other Small Business Deposits offers, as needed, including researching and resolving client escalations
  • Help address risks or close issues related to incentive offers. Play an SME role on risk-remediation and issue closure, as needed
  • Lead or support the execution of initiatives beyond incentive offers, including projects that will advance the Small Business fee structure and disclosures     

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years or more of financial services experience
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including with peers, teammates and senior managers / leaders
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, Small Business products, and Small Business client goals and needs
  • Interpersonal effectiveness; must be able to influence various partners to advance business strategies
  • Innovative and forward thinking; must be able to identify changes that will improve the client experience and product performance
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and not wait for their manager to guide every step
  • Experience with design and implementation of new processes and/or products
  • Strong Power Point, Excel and Word skills, and ability to use the tools to understand trends and communicate effectively
  • Strong risk mindset with process and controls background; ability to actively debate and escalate issues and concerns     

Desired Skills:

  • Experience managing Small Business products, or serving the needs of Small Business clients
  • Experience in designing or delivering incentive offers to clients or prospects
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, checking and savings fees, disclosures and client impacts
  • MBA or similar advanced degree
