GWIM Sr. Operations Analyst – Tax Reporting Operations Quality Assurance

Job Description:

GWIM Tax Reporting Operations (TRO) is responsible for multiple tax related functions to support IRS and State regulatory required tax reporting, withholding payments, and cost basis updates, primarily on behalf of GWIM investment and retirement accounts.

The Senior Operation Analyst is responsible for quality assurance functions that reduce risk and provide necessary separation of duties related to the overall department control environment, including tax payments, federal and state tax filings and reporting to ensure that all activity is done accurately and timely.  The position will work closely with teams across Tax Reporting to maintain clear line of sight, ensure appropriate controls are in place to ensure we are meeting our requirements and maintaining a strong control environment.

Enterprise Role Overview:

Provides technical and analytical support in a GWIM operations function for one or more product areas such as funds transfer, collateral mgt/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support, clearance/settlement, documentation/confirmations, customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes. As a technical expert, acts as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates. This role typically requires 3+ years experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.

  • Ability to navigate a complex organization
  • MS Office Proficient
