Business Support Analyst - CIO

New York, New York

Job Description:

Bank of America Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM) provides comprehensive wealth management to affluent and high-net-worth clients. It also provides retirement and benefit plan services, philanthropic solutions and asset management to individuals and institutions. Clients have access to a range of services offered through Merrill Lynch, Private Banking & Investments Group, U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management and Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions.

The GWIM Chief Investment Office (CIO) supports clients by providing financial advisors with the comprehensive expertise needed to help clients pursue their goals. This expertise includes ongoing oversight of their Investment Strategy, Implementation Guidance, and Portfolio Administration.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Support GWIM CIO Portfolio Management activities
  • Manage diverse administrative functions
  • Consults with senior management in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements.
  • Communicates with executives, support partners and line management.
  • Manage discrete components of collateral
  • Develop strong, effective relationships with business partners

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relatable experience
  • Strong analytical skills, able to maintain a high quality of customer service and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong relationship building skills to communicate with internal team and executive level management to gather/convey relevant information
  • Must use considerable tact, diplomacy and judgment with confidential information
  • Project leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional project teams to drive to concrete results and actions
  • Proven effectiveness in fast-paced environment; ability to manage within tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently ; Proactive self-starter
  • Demonstrated superior organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong relationship building
  • Skill in developing new ideas and new approaches to old ideas
  • Professional maturity to effectively interface with senior management
  • Strong executive support and knowledge of a variety of software programs (i.e. MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, WebEx and SharePoint)
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
