Operations Project Analyst(Global Payments)

Line of Business Role Description

Works on various project related activities in an operation department or business unit. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, and management and or staff analysis. Analyzes assembled data to define problems. Resolves moderately complex problems based on knowledge of the business, as well as general project guidelines. Explains and interprets project procedures. Requires a working knowledge of the operations area.

The Overdraft Exceptions process is looking for a proactive individual with strong attention to detail. Has the ability to drive straight through processing (STP) via process and procedural improvements. Will work within a broader team responsible for a variety of daily processes and driving changes to the Overdraft credit-exception payments process. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain a solid understanding of Treasury Management Products, process improvements, and being the on-point expert for daily process questions and inquiries within the Overdraft Payment Exceptions space. The individual will have great opportunity to influence enhancements to technology and process improvements and simplification consistent with Six Sigma ideals, both for manual processing and robotic automation.     

This will be an individual contributor front line processing role.  Associate will support EMEA Overdraft Exceptions work.  Works on various project related activities in an operation department or business unit. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, and management and or staff analysis. Analyzes assembled data to define problems. Resolves moderately complex problems based on knowledge of the business, as well as general project guidelines. Explains and interprets project procedures. Requires a working knowledge of the operations area.

  • Good communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed work style, able to identify key daily priorities and multi-task as needed
  • Ability to drive operational excellence, simplify processes and eliminate manual processes

Role will work 4am-1pm EST
