Production Specialist I

Job Description:

Entry level position. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines and work standards. Performs various production and support functions. Specific roles will be assigned based on business needs from one of the following: Application Control: Accurately assembling and/or indexing documents that have been faxed into the FileNET imaging system; Precise data entry. Contingency Management: Monitoring and reviewing documentation requirements for appraisals, title and hazard/flood insurance reports. Following up on missing or late vendor items. Payoff: Obtaining and updating required payoffs. Document Preparation: Reviewing approved applications for documentation requirements and preparing various closing documents. Book/Fund: Preparing disbursements for checks and wires. Reconciliation: Monitoring closed loan pipeline to ensure timely funding; researching and completing requests for information.

Supports the servicing of mortgage loans. Work will vary based on associate's department. May entail working on default and/or non-defaulted loans. Responsibilities may include processing routine transactions, documenting loan history, responding to customer, investor, or other 3rd party inquiries, researching and/or preparing documentation, or analyzing requests in accordance with established guidelines and determining appropriate course of action. Handles routine levels of transactions with oversight of senior staff and managers to complete daily tasks. Typically has 0-2 years of experience with a basic knowledge of the business and general office skills

  • Accurately assembling, sorting, scanning mortgage and non-mortgage documents received physically via shipping couriers.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines and work standards. Performs various production and support functions.
  • Individuals at this level are expected to use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to Subject Matter Expert or Team Manager.
  • The position requires an individual who is production and quality focused and who is capable of working in a high volume and demanding continuous production environment.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of the day and navigate multiple systems.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written), tailor communications to audience, and actively listen.
  •  Professional Demeanor: Ability to conduct self with patience, composure and appropriate attitude.
  •  Previous experience with data entry; 10 key extremely helpful.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to life up to 40 pounds
