Job Description:

Position Summary

Veritas Risk Advisor/Data Security Advisor Consultant Systems Engineer:

The engineer is responsible VRA engineering Support BAU activities .The engineer will also interface with application owners and technical specialists to define and update application configuration scans.

Responsibilities:

• Configure VRA application in multiple environments

• Perform discoveries and trouble shoot access issues to systems for discovery.

• Coordinating discovery efforts across multiple regions.

• Create documentation for Engineering and Operational support

• Work with integrations into reporting tools.

Required Skills;

• Minimum 5 years of system engineering experience within a large global company.

• Experience with Windows, UNIX/Linux system administration and understanding of SAN/NAS storage, TCP/IP Networking. • Experience with agentless or agented discovery tools.

• Oracle and SQL database configuration.

• Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)

• Experience in automation scripting (Perl, shell, Jython, PHP, etc.)

• Experience with implementing large scale enterprises application

• Strong organizational skills, ability to work with multiple groups to gather business requirements for scans.

• Strong analytical, multitasking and prioritization skills

• Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, business environment

• Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals in all regions of the organization

• Ability to be a strong team player with commitment to overall organization goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems (or related field), or equivalent experience

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Veritas Risk Advisor or other agentless scanning tool

• Experience with Infrastructure Asset Analysis

• Experience with Windows, UNIX/Linux system administration and understanding of SAN/NAS storage, TCP/IP Networking.

• Experience with agentless or agented discovery tools.
