
Job Description:
This role supports commercial credit underwriting for both Middle Market and Business Banking. The underwriter performs underwriting analysis (i.e. financial, borrower, industry, etc.), prepares supporting deal justification (i.e. CAM), is responsible for initial data entry for pricing and profitability tool, ensures data quality of credit related client & deal information (NAICS, collateral, pricing, guarantees, terms/conditions, regulatory i.e. CRA, etc.) and provides recommendation to Credit Officer on deal structure & approval (based on level/experience). Typically has 2-3 years of credit analyst experience and Bachelors degree required; financial/accounting/economics degree (or experience with financial documents) preferred.
