Business Support Lead II - Office of Corporate Secretary

Job Description:

Assist Office of the Corporate Secretary with its shareholder relations and corporate governance responsibilities.  Prepare internal and regulatory reporting related to shares and share escheatment and support shareholder relations team with responses to requests from shareholders.  Also provide support to the corporate governance team, including administration of Board and committee meetings materials, responses to requests from regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders related to meeting materials, and the preparation of certificates, powers of attorney, and similar documentation. 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.  The candidate will be comfortable working in a team setting, and producing independent work product and completing assignments within deadlines.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects/requests successfully
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and aptitude to learn new programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain highest levels of confidentiality regarding information, documentation, and interactions.

Desired Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience preparing regulatory and/or other types of reporting
  • Understanding of governance functions and processes
