Production Services Lead

The SOA Infrastructure operations team is responsible for providing support to DataPower production environments including incident/problem tickets resolution, planning and executing changes, automation and tools development, working on value added tasks and so on. Along with infrastructure support to DataPower environment, team is also responsible for providing L3 level support for Eportal and CMC application API’s/Services in production.  This role will also be primarily supporting Incident triage, problem management, supporting releases and changes.

Required Skills:

  • 2 or more years’ experience with IBM DataPower

  • 3 or more years hands on experience using Linux/Unix, command line

  • Experience using Enterprise monitoring and alerting tools with one or more of the following: Splunk, Introscope, AppDynamics

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Linux/Unix shell scripting

  • Experience with other scripting languages (IE: Python, Perl, Ruby, etc…)

  • Experience with middleware application servers (IE: webMethods, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, etc…)

  • Good analytical/debugging/troubleshooting skills

  • Good decision making abilities

  • Ability to act individually and as a team member in resolving problems and completing assigned tasks in time.

  • Good oral and written communications skills
