GWIM Sr. Operations Analyst - Performance Operations

Job Description:

Enterprise Overview:

Provides technical and analytical support in a GWIM operations function for one or more product areas such as funds transfer, collateral mgt/margins, corporate actions, static data/data management, control, trader support, clearance/settlement, documentation/confirmations, customer service, new accounts, client valuations, document processing or statement/billing processing. Responsible for the analysis and resolution of moderately complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exception handling and working with multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. May participate in projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products/services and processes. As a technical expert, acts as a unit advisor providing technical support to less experienced associates. This role typically requires 3+ years experience in operations functions and a thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.

LOB Description:

The GWIM Sr. Operations Analyst will conduct proactive quality assurance, problem resolution and provide ongoing assistance to Financial Advisors with respect to performance analytics and reporting. Reporting support includes the production and review of cyclical performance reports and ad hoc performance reporting.  Performance processes will be monitored and verified as appropriate with prompt resolution for all exception items. Frequent contact with branch office personnel is required to research and to resolve performance data issues that are encountered.

Specific responsibilities will include analyzing system data and calculation, portfolio performance, quality assurance of work performed by outside vendors, support and partnership with the Financial Advisor/Strategist community, timely email response, and facilitating adjustments to the performance measurement systems and reporting as needed. Additional responsibilities will include training and review of all operational and vendor procedures and process flows for completeness and accuracy.   

 

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years prior experience in the financial industry

  • Proficiency with Excel, Work, PowerPoint and other similar applications 

  • Team player with ability to work independently

  •  Must have excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills  

  •  Must have strong analytical and organizational skills

  •  Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  •  Ability to troubleshoot complex performance problems

  •  Strong communicative and relationship building skills

  •  High attention to detail

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Performance Measurement/Reporting

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg

  • Knowledge of the First Rate, Rage, or PMC platform

  • Level 1 CFA or Series 7 preferred
